Mr. Clay Daniel Lipham, age 26, of Carrollton Tyus Road, Carrollton, Georgia died Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Mr. Lipham was born in Carrollton, Georgia on July 2, 1985, the son of Jimmy William Lipham and the late Kathy Daniel Lipham. Survivors include his father, Jimmy Lipham of Carrollton; brother, Adam Lipham of Carrollton and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, E.V. and Joann Lipham and maternal grandparents, Curtis and Velma Daniel. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday, December 9 at 3 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. Darnell Teal and Rev. Steve Dempsey officiating. His body will lie in state from 2:30 p.m. until the funeral hour. Pallbearers will be Clint Lipham, Jason(JT) Todd, Paul West, Kyle Huff, Taylor Waddle, Nick Keith, Chevy Cowart and Kerry Mitchell. Interment will be in Carroll Memory Gardens.
