Mr. Charles Townsley Cole, age 96, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023.

Mr. Cole was born in Carroll County, Georgia, on March 28, 1926, son of the late Vernon Emory Cole and Leona Irene Ward Cole.  He retired from the Wholesale and Retail Jewelry business having worked for Maryville Jewelers and was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his children and spouses, Brad K. (Melissa) Cole, Melody Cole (Tony) Marlow, Lee Cole; grandchildren, CB Cole, Melina Douthit, Casey Williamson, Abbey Johnson, Gracie Cole; 7 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Iola Cole.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Almon Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 4 pm in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Minister Allen Howard and Kenneth Jiles officiating.

Interment will be in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.
