Charlcie Richards Mrs. Charlcie Rigsby Richards, age 83 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Monday, December 09, 2013. Mrs. Richards was born in Carrollton, Georgia on May 31, 1930, the daughter of the late Claude Rigsby and Lorene Walker Rigsby. She married Herbert Richards November 2, 1947 and was a retired office manager at West Georgia Auto Parts. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Sheila Richards of Carrollton; grandchildren and spouse, Ben Richards of Athens, GA, Georgia and Jonathan Paschal of Carrollton; great grandchild, Nevaeh Brown; sisters-in-law, Laura Jean Richards, Bobbi Kitfield, and Jane Rigsby all of Carrollton; nieces, Melanie Jackson, Sheila Harris and nephew, Hal Richards. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Eugene Richards; brother, Jerral Rigsby and granddaughter, Peaches Ann Richards. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 12 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Min. Neil Weathington, Rev. Milford Ballenger, and Mr. David Richards officiating. Pallbearers will be Ben Richards, Hal Richards, Jonathan Paschal, Steve Fuller, Donnie Bates, Joe Popwell, Eddie Freeman and Dana Freeman. Honorary pallbearers will be Donna Skipper and the staff of Autumn Square, Patsy Driver, Leigh Mobley and staff of Homestead Hospice. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the National MS Society, Georgia Chapter, 1117 Perimeter Center West, Suite E101, Atlanta, GA 30338.
