Mrs. Catherine Reeves Mosley, age 85 of Peachtree Street, Carrollton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Mrs. Mosley was born in Carroll County on February 9, 1926, the daughter of the late Joe Reeves and Ruth Ingrom Reeves. She retired from Pine Knoll Nursing Home where she worked as a nurses aid and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Sandy Mosley of Roopville, Randy Mosley of Carrollton, Scott and Kathy Mosley of Marietta; grandchildren, Ashley Mosley, Justin Mosley, Lauren Mosley, Kristen Mosley; brother, Robbie Reeves of Boaz, Alabama; sisters, Evelyn Reid of Atlanta, Joanne Beggarly of Odenton, Maryland and Mary Lou Reeves of Carrollton. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Ray Mosley; brothers, Owen Reeves, Ed Reeves, Jack Reeves and sister, Freida Wiggins. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 1 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Cooke officiating. Pallbearers will be Ashley Mosley, Justin Mosley, Marty Reeves, Jerry Reid, Terry Lindsey, Judson Bell, and Edward Adams. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to Tanner Hospice Care, P. O. Box 1136, Carrollton, GA 30112.
