Obituary

Mrs. Caroline Sue Jackson of Carrollton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. She was born on October 24, 1942, in Wichita, Kansas, to the late Perry Masterson and Mildred Masterson.

Mrs. Jackson spent her career working in sales for Woods Wholesale. She was of the Baptist faith and found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved to read and cherished time spent with her family—especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Watson T. Jackson; daughters-in-law, Lisa W. Jackson and Debbie Jackson; grandchildren, Laura Jackson Gibbs, Jennifer (Jeremy) Phillips, and Jessica Jackson (Brandon Tarrant); great-grandchildren, Wade and Conner Gibbs and Anna Kate Phillips; sister-in-law, Gloria Turner; and nephew, Kenny (Rachel) Gates.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Jeff Jackson and James "Jim" Jackson; and her sister, Shirley Kay Gates.

A private family graveside service will be held at Carroll Memory Gardens with Rev. John Haney officiating.
