Mrs. Caroline Bogdis Duncan of Carrollton, Georgia died at the age of 91 on April 21, 2025.

Caroline was born April 28, 1933, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was the only child of the late Constantino Bogdis and Anna Miller Bogdis.

In 1958, while working with Southern Bell Telephone Company in Atlanta, she met and married Donald Duncan of Carrollton. She and her son, Patrick, and Donald resided in Atlanta. In 1960, a daughter, Donna was born. The family moved to Carrollton in 1965.

Caroline was employed by Carroll County School System until her retirement in 1993. In her retired years she and Donald enjoyed traveling, family, and engaging with the community.

Caroline was an active member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she also worked for a time with the prison ministry.

Survivors include her husband, Donald; daughter, Donna Duncan Sanders; son-in-law, Scott Sanders; grandson, Matthew Medert and his wife Jamie Medert. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Duncan.

Family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 10am until 11am. Funeral service will follow the visitation in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home at 11am with Dr. Stephen Allen officiating.

A private family interment will be held at Carroll Memory Gardens with Rev. Rob Sauls officiating.
