Carol Elaine Wright

Mrs. Carol Elaine Wright, age 59, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026.

Carol was born on November 15, 1966, in Carrollton, Georgia, to the late Ross L. Oliver and Ella Mae Ford Oliver. She was a graduate of Carrollton High School, Class of 1984.

Carol enjoyed expressing her creativity through arts and crafts, but her greatest joy in life was her family. She especially cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the special memories she created with those closest to her.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Wright; daughters and son-in-law, Kristen (Joe) Merrifield, Rachel Wright, and Amanda Wright; grandchildren, Cooper, Ella, Rhett, and Madeline; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry (Jeanie) Oliver; sister, Shirley Lankford; and nieces and nephews, Ryan Lankford, Kathryn Lankford, Erin Langley, Adam Oliver, and Chris Oliver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Mike Lankford.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 9, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Almon Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 PM from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home.
