Mrs. Carol L. Martin, age 85 of Mill Stream Ct., Carrollton passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011. Mrs. Martin was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on November 20, 1926, the daughter of the late Wilbur L. Lahman and Marguerite Neerman Lahman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Carrollton First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Talmage M. Martin, Jr. MD; daughter, Katherine E. Martin of Carrollton, daughter and son-in-law, Anne M. Martin and Robert H. White of Decatur; son, Scott W. Martin of Carrollton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 4 at 2 p.m. at the Carrollton First United Methodist Church with Dr. Dean Milford and Rev. Alex Brookhuis officiating. Pallbearers will be Sean Steen, Steve Steen, Bill Johnson, Randy Ayers, John Barrett, and Todd Dixon. Honorary pallbearers will be the Charles' Characters Bridge Club and Blue Stocking Club. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 pm to 7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Alice's House Community Children's Home, Inc., P.O.
