Mrs. Carol A. Hoberg, 74, of Douglasville, GA passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Mrs. Hoberg was born in Hoboken, NJ on December 10, 1942 the daughter of the late Julius Von Scheidt and Loretta Gensel Scheidt. She was a member of the Union Grove Christian Church and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Jim Hoberg, daughter, Michele Peterson of Marietta, son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Joanne Hoberg of Carrollton, daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Chuck McCain of Gainsville, GA, son, Peter Hoberg of Phoenix, AZ, grandchildren, Ashley and Justin Peterson, Katie and Emily Hoberg, Chris, Alex, and Jackie McCain, sister, Nancy Wasileski of Auburn, NY and mother-in-law, Elsie Hoberg of Carrollton. Funeral services will be Sunday, November 5 at 5 P. M. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Mallory officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday 1 hour prior to the service. Entombment will be in Carroll Memory Gardens.
