Mr. Carl Charles Moran, 92, of Northside Drive, Carrollton, GA passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011. Mr. Moran was born in Hamtramck, MI on November 4, 1918, the son of the late Frank Moran and Barbara Lukovic Moran . He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during WWII, a retired plant manager at Douglas & Lomason, and member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Survivors include daughters, Judy Harris of Carrollton, Shirley Millwood of Douglasville, grandchildren, Nolen Carl Erik Harris, Geoff P. Millwood, Christopher Ryan Harris, and 4 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann R. Moran, infant son, Carl Frank Moran, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, September 13 at 10 A. M. with Father Rafael Carballo and Father Richard Morrow officiating. Pallbearers will be Thurman Harris, Erik Harris, Ryan Harris, Geoff Millwood, Bill Maddox, and Bob Codner. Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Millwood and Ray Smith. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p. m. until 8 p. m. with the Rosary at 8 p. m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll County Alzheimer's Support Group, P. O. Box 1273, Carrollton, GA 30112.
