Mrs. Brenda Diane King, age 74, of Bowdon, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Mrs. King was born in Carroll County, Georgia on October 4, 1949 daughter of the late Spencer Buchanan and Rudean Herrin Buchanan.

Mrs. King was a homemaker and attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Whitesburg. She enjoyed reading books, watching soap operas and ghost adventure shows.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Tina King II; grandsons, Spencer King of Villa Rica, Vincent King of Bowdon, Christopher (CJ) Nordman of Temple; great granddaughter, A'Aleah King of Bowdon; close cousins, Harold and Lee McKeown; aunt and uncle; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 2 PM from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the service hour.
