Mr. Frank Robert "Bobby" Tykac, Jr., age 63, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023. Born in Carrollton, Georgia on January 8, 1960, he was the beloved son of the late Frank Robert Tykac, Sr. and Virginia Ann Nickel Tykac.

Bobby was a graduate of Carrollton High School, Class of 1979. Throughout his career, he dedicated himself to the field of electrical utility work, serving as a substation technician at Beta Engineering until his retirement. Even in retirement, his passion for outdoor work led him back to Fairfield Plantation, where he worked in lawn maintenance.

An enthusiast of the great outdoors, Bobby found solace by the water's edge as an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed playing golf and his canine companions, who were cherished members of his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Kaye Tykac; devoted sisters and brothers-in-law, Kay and Tim Gaines, Nancy and Steve Chandler; nieces and nephews, Nancy Jane Strickland, Jody Strickland, Josh Chandler, and Ginny Chandler.

The Tykac Family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm.
