Mr. Bobby Dean Towler, Sr., age 72, of Carrollton, Georgia died Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Mr. Towler was born in Douglas County, Georgia on October 12, 1942, the son of the late Kenny Towler and Bernice Fountain Towler. He was retired from Douglas County Road Department where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. Survivors include his wife, Sue B. Towler; daughters, Rita Sue Nash of Douglasville, Vicky Towler of Randolph County, Alabama; son, Bobby Dean Towler, Jr. of Carrollton; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and sister, Peggy Costley of Carrollton. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Oldophus Towler, Berryle Blankenship, Pete Towler; sisters, Magaree Sullivan, Josephine Holland and Myrtle Price. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Thursday, February 12 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Funeral service will Thursday, February 12 at 4 p.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Pastor Curtis Costley officiating.
