Mrs. Bobbie Jean Morris, age 90, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Bobbie was born on June 8, 1936, in Carrollton, Georgia, to the late David Gilbert Brook and Ressie Wynn Brook. She was a lifelong resident of the Carrollton community and was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and devotion to her family and church.
After graduating from high school, Bobbie began her career at West Georgia College, where she worked for 20 years before retiring. Following her retirement, she continued serving others through volunteering at Tanner Medical Center, where she gave her time and compassion to those in need.
It was during this chapter of her life that Bobbie met her beloved husband, the late Carroll Morris. Together, they shared many wonderful years filled with faith, family, and adventure. One of their greatest joys was traveling together. They visited all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii, creating cherished memories along the way.
When they were not traveling, Bobbie enjoyed spending time with family, working in the yard, and remodeling their home. She found great joy in making her home a place where family and friends could gather and feel welcome.
Bobbie and Carroll were faithful members of Roopville Road Baptist Church, where they both sang in the choir. Their faith was an important part of their lives, and their church family held a special place in their hearts.
Bobbie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Curt McNeese of Marietta; nieces, Cindy Wadlington of Carrollton, Leslie Curry of Spalding, MI; great nieces, Brook Kubik (Steven) of Carrollton, Mary Beth Maxwell of Carrollton; great-great nieces, Maddie, Mary, Margaret & Mamie Kubik; great-great nephews, Max & Miles Kubik, and Timothy Curry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Morris; sisters, Mary Aldridge, Betty Borders and Vivian Vines.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 2:30 PM from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 12:30 PM until the service hour.
