Mr. Billy Joe "Bill" Williams, age 80 of Roopville, Georgia died Monday, December 18, 2023.

Mr. Williams was born in Newell, Alabama on October 25, 1943, the son of the late George Howard Williams and Bertha Reaves Williams. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 41 years of service and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Williams; daughter and son-in-law, Penny Susan (Robert) Williams; sons and daughter-in-law, Billy Russ Williams, Kevin Craig (Patrice) Williams; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Murl (Linda) Williams; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Nell (Gerald) Robinson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, W. Harold Williams, Rev. Charles E. Williams and grandson, Seth Thomas House.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from noon until 2 p.m. Funeral service will follow the visitation in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home at 2 pm with Dr. Kevin Williams officiating. Music will be by Patty Pritchard and Mark Camp.

Entombment will be in Carroll Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
