Mrs. Barbara Jean Stoughton, age 75, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

Mrs. Stoughton was born October 6, 1950, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Frank Klein and Florence Thorne Klein.

Barbara was a devoted homemaker and a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. She also worked as the office manager for Stair’s Repair Service, which was owned and operated by her late husband, Dennis Stair.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Stoughton; daughter, Wanda Garrett; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Teresa Stair; grandchildren, Chase Stair, Makynzee Stair, and Andrew Garrett; sister, Betty Klein; nephew, Michael Bentley; and nieces, Wendy Boyd, Tammie Arnold, Sandra Starkie, and Christie Parris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis Stair.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Bethesda Baptist Church, with Rev. Tony Morris and Rev. Pat Heuer officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the service hour.

Interment will follow in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery.
