Mrs. Barbara "Bobbi" A. McEwen, 78, of Center Point Road, Carrollton passed away Monday, January 23, 2012. Mrs. McEwen was born on January 21, 1934, the daughter of the late Samuel Wilbur Almon and Margaret Riggs Almon. She was co-owner of Sacks Consignment Shop and member of Abilene Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jerry McEwen, son, Richard Harper of Manchester, daughters, Jean Harper Burgess and Deborah Bennett, both of Carrollton, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, sisters, Martha Jo Maxwell of Macon, and Carol Kemp of Carrollton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Almon. Memorial graveside services will be Wednesday, January 25 at 2 P. M.at Carroll Memory Gardens with Rev.
