Mrs. Barbara Gail Hill, age 76, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014. Mrs. Hill was born in Abington Township, Pennsylvania on March 7, 1937, the daughter of the late Richard Pollock and Esther Smith Pollock. She was a medical director secretary having worked for Peachford and Egleston Hospitals. She volunteered as the Peachtree High School Band Booster Secretary, and as a Team Mom for all her children's activities. Mrs. Hill was a member of the Georgia Council of the Blind and Carrollton First Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Kenda Hill of Mineral Wells, Texas, Ken and Janet Hill of Lawrenceville, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Herb Forrister of Carrollton; grandchildren, Nick Forrister, Rachel Forrister, Sean Hill and sister, Judy Berridge of Horsham, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Sunday, February 23 from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Funeral service will be Sunday, February 23 at 3:30 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Davis officiating.
