Mrs. Ann S. Vines, 71, of Carrollton, GA passed away September 22, 2015. Mrs. Vines was born in Columbia, SC on October 28, 1943, the daughter of the late William Kelse Strickland, Jr. and Thelma Eugenia Altman Strickland. Mrs. Vines was a homemaker and member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Leah Wilson of Tampa, FL, Lori Moore of Newnan, GA, sons, Robbie Wilson of Carrollton, GA, Ron Wilson of Rockmart, GA, sisters, Carolyn Harper of Augusta, GA, Elaine Cox of Greer, SC, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Vines. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 p. m. until 8 p. m. Funeral services will be Friday, September 25 at 2 P. M. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Mr. Keith Horsley officiating. Pallbearers will be Rick Nichols, Wayne Mcleroy, Rusty Cox, Billy Cox, Manuel Mijah and Lee Denney. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Almon Funeral Home of Carrollton in charge of arrangements.
