Ann Young Darnell, age 85, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 29, 1939, daughter of the late William Young and Mary Williams Young.

Ann was known for her work in Quality Control at Sony Music, where she contributed many years of service. Outside of her professional life, Mary enjoyed painting and spending time with her loved ones.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Michelle Darnell; granddaughter, Madison Darnell; her brother and sister-in-law, Buster and Darlene Young; and her sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Bob Owens. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Carolyn Eckert; and her brother, Henry Young.

A private family graveside service will be held at Carrollton City Cemetery on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
