Mrs. Ann Sweatt Buchanan, age 89, of Carrollton, GA, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Mrs. Buchanan was born December 7, 1935 in Pell City, Alabama the daughter of the late Charlie Chandler Sweatt and Lucille Elizabeth Summers. She worked at Sony for 16 years before her retirement. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Homer Jerry Buchanan; her brothers Claud Sweatt and Paul Sweatt.

Survivors include her brothers Charles Sweatt (Judy) and Shelley Sweat (Eleanor); her sister Sue Rosser (Don); her sister in laws Linda Sweatt and Judy Sweatt; as well as a host of extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
