Obituary

Mr. Marvis Allen Kaylor, 58, of N. Lakeshore Drive, Carrollton died Friday, March 4, 2011. Mr. Kaylor was born in Carroll County on January 21, 1953, the son of the late Marvis Reese Kaylor and Jean Scudder Kaylor. He was a sales manager with Avedis Zildjian Company and member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Barbara W. Kaylor; sons and daughter-in-law, Scott and Julie Kaylor, Michael Kaylor all of Carrollton; sister, Jo Worthington of Buford; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Julia Kaylor of Ft. Worth, Texas. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, John Worthington. A memorial service will be Monday, March 7 at 11 a.m. at Tabernacle Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Gentry officiating. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Inurnment will be in the Carrollton City Cemetery.
