Mrs. Alecia Dawn Ray Arrington, age 40 of Winston, Georgia died Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Mrs. Arrington was born in Denton, Texas on April 1, 1976, the daughter of Herman E. Buzz Ray, Jr. and Sandra Wilcox Ray. She was a 1994 graduate of South Cobb High School. Survivors include her husband, Danny W. Arrington; parents, Herman E. Buzz and Sandra Ray of Dallas, Georgia; sisters, Avaree McNeill of Kennesaw, Georgia, Ariane Bradford of College Station, Texas and brother, Tristan Ray of Kennesaw, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Herman Earl Ray, Sr. and Winnie Jewell Ray; maternal grandfather, Clyde B. Wilcox and father-in-law, Hayden Arrington. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 23 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Alvin Hunnicutt officiating. In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local humane society.
