Mr. William Olin Adcock, Jr., age 75 of Carrollton, Georgia died Friday, April 26, 2013. Mr. Adcock was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 26, 1937, the son of the late William Olin Adcock, Sr. and Mary Sage Adcock. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army, a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina where he received his Bachelor and Master degrees. He also graduated from Georgia State University. Mr. Adcock, a businessman worked most of his life as a financial consultant. Survivors include his wife, Marilu Adcock; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jean Adcock Greene and Andy Greene of Lawrenceville, Elizabeth Adcock Duncan and Scott Duncan of Carrollton; grandchildren, Drew Greene, Elissa Greene, Rebecca Greene, Pate Duncan, Chase Duncan, Savanna Duncan; sister, Betsy Adcock Draughon of St. Simons Island; brother, Gene Adcock of Las Vegas, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Saturday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Graveside service, interment and military honors will be held Sunday, April 28 at 3 p.m. at Social Circle City Cemetery on Lakewood Drive, Social Circle, Georgia with Rev. Jeff Lewis officiating. Pallbearers will be Scott Duncan, Andy Greene, Drew Greene, Pate Duncan, Chase Duncan and Jerry Lester.
