Mrs. Rachel G. "Trudy" Healy, age 75, of Carrollton, GA passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017. Mrs. Healy was born on December 13, 1941 in Roopville, GA the daughter of the late W.T. Bell and Rachel Hipp Bell. She retired from the University of West Georgia where she worked as the Director of Continuing Education and was a member of Roopville Baptist Church. Survivors include her brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Judy Bell of Marietta, GA, Judson and Nancy Bell of Roopville, GA; niece, Rachel and Adam Walker of Carrollton, GA; nephew, Lee and Danyell Markham of Mt. Zion, GA; great neices, Linda and Alura Markham; great nephew, Ivan Markham. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Healy and sister, Linda Markham. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Johnson and Rev. John Riley officiating. Pallbearers will be Emanuel Reid, Lee Markham, Ivan Markham and Adam Walker. Interment will be in the Roopville Cemetery.
