Mr. Thomas "Teddy" Bear, age 76 of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Mr. Bear was born in Rochester, NY on January 22, 1938, the son of the late Peter Bear and Fanny Barstow Bear. He served in the U.S. Marine Reserves, was a member of Bethany Christian Church and the Elks Lodge. He was employed in sales at James O'Neal Dodge and has been retired for eight years. Survivors include his wife, Susan H. Bear; children and their spouses, Kim (Mike) Babcock of NY, Melanie (Richard) Hall of NY, Toby Bear of FL, Danny Bear of NY, Terri (Richard) Bryant of GA, Barbara (Bo) Whispell of GA, Tracey Ratner of TN; brothers and their spouses, Richard (Ginny) Bear of NC and John (Kathy) Bear of MA, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Timmy Bear. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Bethany Christian Church in Carrollton, GA with Minister Mike Wood officiating.
