Mrs. Ruth Bowers Sauls, age 84, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013. She was born on April 5, 1928, in Blairsville, GA to the late Thomas Bowers and Laurie Cavender Bowers. She was a homemaker and member of Glenhaven Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and David Reynolds of Carrollton; brother, Frank Bowers of Kannapolis, NC; and two grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Sauls; sisters, Dorothy Collinson, and Katherine Spry. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11a.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with The Very Reverend Hazel S. Glover officiating. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home, Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service time. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery, Lula, GA.
