Mrs. Dana Patricia "Patsy" Ann Robinson, age 68, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Mrs. Robinson was born in Heard County, Georgia on May 12, 1946, the daughter of the late Pink Shelnutt and Ruby Brown Shelnutt. She had worked as an LPN with Tanner Medical Center Carrollton, was a member of the Young at Heart Sunday School Class and Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Felix E. Robinson; daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Tim Bennett of Temple; sons and daughter-in-law, Chris and Suzanne Patterson and Matthew Robinson both of Carrollton; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Regina Shelnutt of Carrollton; mother-in-law, Ila Gess of Carrollton. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Robin Shelnutt. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 4 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Doug New and Rev. Wayne Webb officiating. Her body will be placed in state from 3 p.m. until the service time. Pallbearers will be Scott Bennett, Randall Hilton, Dana Knipl, Greg Adams, Jayson Conn and Adam Bills. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
