Obituary

Norma Frances Eason Wilson Davis, age 86, of Jonesboro, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015. Mrs. Davis was born in Carroll County, Georgia on June 2, 1928, the daughter of the late John Eason and Elizabeth Burt "Bess" Eason. She was a homemaker and previously attended Union Hill Baptist Church and Pastor Gibson's church. She was a feisty one that enjoyed watching soap operas, gardening and dancing. She loved her family and the nurses and residents at Arrowhead Health Care . Survivors include her daughter, JoAnne Scott of Fayetteville; son, Joseph Wilson of Mableton; daughter, Kathrine Wilson (Bruce) McDonald of Forest Park; daughter, Diane Wilson Brannon of Marietta; grandchildren, Keith Scott, Sandy Scott Riffe, Shane Wilson, Becky Bolden, Jennifer Parker, Joanna Wilson Beltran, Ashley Wilson, Jonathan Hardy, Katherine Francie Brannon; 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, J.D. Wilson; second husband, Wiley Davis; son, Curtis Wilson; one brother, three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, March 30, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Gibson and Pastor J.T. Lee officiating. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery in Winston, GA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Group, P.O.
