Mrs. Nanette Hastey McCrary, age 92 of Carrollton, Georgia died Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Mrs. McCrary was born in Chipley, Georgia on April 25, 1924, the daughter of the late Samuel Webb Hastey and Susie Mae Sistrunk Hastey. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Susan and Larry Moore of Buchanan, Myra Williams of Acworth; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Brenda McCrary of Carrollton; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Curtis McCrary; son, Charles Michael McCrary; grandson, Charles Dewayne Moore; brother, Sam Hastey; sisters, Sue Lehnerd, Ann Parker and Mary Van Webb Hastey Hewitt. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Stewart House for years of compassionate care and service.
