Mrs. Ruth Marlene Wysoczynski, age 79 of Carrollton, Georgia passed peacefully away on Friday night, July 26, 2013, following an extended illness. Mrs. Wysoczynski was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on July 16, 1934. She was the youngest of three children, Ray Chicklon and Mildred Dixon whom both passed several years ago; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Carol Wysoczynski, and along with her parents, Joseph and Elenor Sauer Chicklon. She was a devoted spouse, mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed by all and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Marlene is survived by her loving husband, Donald T. Wysoczynski, along with three sons and daughter-in-law, James Allen Wysoczynski, Thomas Lee and Janet Rose Wysoczynski, all of Carrollton and Gerald Wysoczynski, of Bowdon . She was a wonderful grandmother of six and was always available when the need arose. She also had four great-grandchildren. Marlene lived a loving and full life and will be so missed by all. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 30 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Rafael Carballo officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Wysoczynski, Donny Wysoczynski, J. J. Wysoczynski, Col. Charles Winn, Trey Fleck, and Dave Johnson. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Monday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., with the rosary at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Carroll County Animal Shelter, 251 Automation Drive, Carrollton, GA 30117.
