Mr. John Larsen, 87, of Longleaf Drive,Villa Rica, GA passed away Thursday, August 7, 2008. Mr. Larsen was born December 4, 1920 in Erie County, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Louis Larsen and Gertrude Koford Larsen. He was a veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard, retired insurance adjuster, treasure of the Fairfield Fire Department, and member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Marian C. Larsen of Villa Rica, son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Karen Larsen of Carrollton, grandchildren and their spouses, Erica and Mike White, Brian and Kim Larsen, sister, Caroline Rastetter of Erie, PA, and beloved uncle of John Rastetter, Kathy Keys, and Karen Rastetter. A Memorial Mass will be Monday, August 11, 2008 at 11 A. M. at OLPH Catholic Church with Father Paul Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
