Doug Jones Mr. Thurman Douglas Doug Jones, age 73 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016. Mr. Jones was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 11, 1942, the son of the late Thurman W. Jones and Frances Veal Jones. He graduated from the University of Georgia receiving his Doctorate of Pharmacy and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Anita Lawrence Jones; daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Kerry Robinson of Carrollton, Amy and Jason Crosby of Decatur, Katie Jones of Carrollton, Laura Jones of Carrollton; son and daughter-in-law, Ty and Kathy Jones of Carrollton; eight grandchildren and brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Mary Jones of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 5 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Minister John Latimer officiating.
