Mrs. Bonnell Shirey Cole, age 85 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Mrs. Cole was born in Carrollton, Georgia on July 21, 1932, the daughter of the late Joe Henry Shirey and Mattie Pearl Gillespie Shirey. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tony L. and Debbie Cole of Carrollton; daughter and son-in-law, Tina C. and Gordon Crocker of Anniston, Alabama; grandchildren, Kristi (Jason) Robinson, Kelli Parris, David (Courtney) Cole and Tyler Cole. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Loren Cole, brothers, Dewey Shirey, Travis Shirey, Terrell Shirey, Herman Shirey and Denver Shirey. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home Friday, June 8 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Rev. Don Voyles and Pastor Chad Eason officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon until the service time. Pallbearers will be David Cole, Tyler Cole, Jason Robinson, Phil Stamps, Chad Sheriff and Roddy Shirey. Interment will be in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
