Life Legacy
Mrs. Betty Jean Daniel Hall Sims, age 75 of Lovvorn Road, Carrollton took her last breath on this earth Friday, February 26, 2010.
Mrs. Sims was born in Carrollton on October 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Will Daniel and Emma Boykin.
She was retired from Southwire Company and a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton.
She leaves the following to cherish her memories; son’s, Bobby Lee Hall of Newnan, Nick Cameron of Douglasville; daughters, Mary Hellen (Walter) Parks, Mary Jean (David) Parks both of Whitesburg, Gladys Hall of Newnan, Montclair (Ever) Galo’Rubio of Bowdon Junction, Betty Jean Cameron of Atlanta, Rachel Dix, Ceisha Dix of Carrollton, Candance (Jerome) Morgan of Detroit, Michigan; step-brothers, Chester Pinking of Rome, Lester Brown of Bowdon, Anthony Hill, Willie Garret, Stanley Garret all of Carrollton; step-sister, Emma Jean Newell of Carrollton; sister-in-laws, Ruby Daniel of Atlanta, Lunell Addison, Ruby Sims both of Carrollton; brother-in-law, James Hall of Newnan, Rufus Sims of Carrollton; 30 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of Mrs. Betty Jean Daniel Hall Sims life will be Saturday, March 6 at 1 o’clock at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton with Pastor Bradley Bell officiating.
The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Friday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Interment will be in the Stripling Chapel Cemetery.
