Obituary for Myra Lou Sullivan

Mrs. Myra Lou Sullivan, age 71 of Carrollton, Georgia died Saturday, February 11, 2017.

Mrs. Sullivan was born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 26, 1945, the daughter of the late Cecil H. Rogers and Robbie Stephens Rogers. She was a 1964 graduate of Southwest Atlanta High School and had worked for Dixie Converting for 37 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the United Daughters of Confederacy Dorothy Blount Lamar Chapter 2104 Atlanta, Georgia.

Survivors include her children, Christina Sullivan of Villa Rica, Thomas Sullivan of Alexandria, Virginia, Karen Soto of Bremen, Sharon Sweat of Acworth; brother, Harrison Rogers of Carrollton; sister, Diane Byrd of Lawrenceville and nieces, Patti Devere Hopkins of Loganville and Sharon Maxfield of Lilburn. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Sullivan; niece, Pam Womack and brother-in-law, Billy Byrd.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Funeral service will be Thursday, February 16 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Deacon Gary Atkinson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Sullivan, Paul Ratliffe, Jack Maxfield, Tyler Hopkins, Wesley Stephens and Webb Fuller. Honorary pallbearers will be Harrison Rogers, Josh Devere, Mitchell Maxfield, Robert Womack, Chris Dixon, Rufus Dixon and Michael Hembree.

Interment will be in OLPH Catholic Church Cemetery.
