Vivian always wanted to help others and was very active in the community being a charter member of the Carrollton PEO Civic Organization. Additionally, because of her love of music, she was patroness for the West Georgia College Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-nine years, Franklin Willis Fidler, her parents John Ellison Stokes and Della Kirby Stokes; and a sister Della Ruth Stokes Hall.
