Obituary for Marjorie Dewberry

Mrs. Marjorie Hardegree Dewberry, age 88, of Humboldt, TN passed away Friday, April 13, 2018.

Mrs. Dewberry was born in Carrollton, GA on November 26, 1929 the daughter of the late Hiram Aaron Hardegree and Viola Maude Meeks Hardegree. She retired from Southern Bell / Bellsouth after 35 years and is a member of Bright Star United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Lisa Dewberry of Humboldt, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Ricky Crittenden of Jonesboro, GA; grandchildren, Jenna Dewberry, Carmen LeMaster, Kendyl Davis, Shannon Amon, Kevin Crittenden, Brandon Crittenden, Julia Ginesi and Carmen Ginesi; sister, Estell Jiles and brother, Jerry Hardegree both of Carrollton, GA. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ruel Dewberry; brothers, Norman Hardegree and Jr. Hardegree and sister; Catherine Walker.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 12 noon until the service hour.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Constien officiating.

Interment will be in the Carrollton City Cemetery with members of the family serving as pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bright Star United Methodist Church, 3715 Bright Star Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135.
