Obituary for Charlene H. Williams

Ms. Charlene H. Williams, age 67 of Carrollton, Georgia died Sunday, June 3, 2018.
Ms. Williams was born in Carrollton, Georgia on August 23, 1950, the daughter of Madge Alma Riddle Hendrix and the late Charlie W. Hendrix. She had worked as a CNA with Hospice Care and was a member of North Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Madge R. Hendrix of Carrollton; daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie (Ken) Jennings of Carrollton, Gina (Kieth) Lafever of Chattanooga, Tennessee; son, Dustin Cates of Tallahassee, Florida; grandchildren, Jason and Josh Jennings of Carrollton, Dakota, Logan, Kaleb, and Parker Lafever of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jade Cates of Tallahassee, Florida; great grandchild, Kaine Aaron Lee Lafever of Chattanooga, Tennessee; sisters and brother-in-law, Terry (Joe) Street of Carrollton, Sherrill Whiddon of Newnan; two nieces, a nephew and several cousins. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jerry Vanessa Armstrong.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 9 at 12 noon at North Point Baptist Church with Rev. Geron Crawford and Mr. Joe Street officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time.
Inurnment will be in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Lee Wimberly officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charlene H. Williams Memorial Fund, made payable to North Point Baptist Church, 1400 Cedar St., Carrollton, Georgia 30117.
