Obituary for Betty June Jones

Mrs. Betty June Jones, 84, of Carrollton, GA passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

Mrs. Jones was born in Bradenton, FL on June 8, 1933, the daughter of the late John Wiley Moon and Lutrelle Bowen Moon. She was a member of the Carrollton First United Methodist Church for 60 years and Adult Friendship Sunday School Class. Mrs. Jones retired as a receptionist with Carrollton OBYGN.

Survivors include her husband, Franklin D. Jones, daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Ronald Lovell of Rockmart, Kathy and Randy Bell of Carrollton, grandsons, Chad (Eileen) Bell and Blake (Hannah) Bell all of Carrollton, great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Maverick, and Charley Bell, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 4 at 4 P. M. from the Carrollton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Patton and Rev. Ken Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends at the church in the Gathering Room on Friday from 4 p. m. until 7 p. m.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Lovell, Randy Bell, Blake Bell, Chad Bell, Don Baker, and Clarence Finleyson.

The Adult Friendship Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Carrollton First United Methodist Church, 206 Newnan Street, Carrollton, Georgia 30117 or the Adult Friendship Sunday School Class at CFUMC.

Interment will be in Carrollton City Cemetery.
